July 12 Buck Moon

One of our most cherished community experiences is on the horizon once more.

Saturday, July 12th @7: 30pm, come enjoy the full moon at Patch.

By popular demand, we’re bringing back one of our community’s most beloved special events!

Come walk with us under the glow of the Buck Moon, named for the antlered stags who begin to rise into their next cycle of growth. This ancient rhythm echoes through the trees at Patch, and calls us to do the same: renew, reflect, and root deeper.

While we innovate at the Speed of Nature, this evening invites you to shift down. To feel the hum of the forest at night. To move at the pace of your own breath. And to remember: you belong here.

Step softly into our 123-year-old growth forest, along lesser-known trails that wind through the hammock and lead to the serene heart of the woods—our Thai Meditation Joglo, illuminated by candlelight and moonbeams. This sacred pause will be guided by none other than Suzanne Jewell, our Chief Experience Officer and founder of the Mindful Pocket Park @Patch. A certified mindfulness meditation teacher, executive resilience coach, and forest therapy guide, Suzanne brings a tender clarity that grounds every experience she leads.

What is the UN International Day of Peace?
Ordinarily I go to the woods alone,
with not a single friend,
for they are all smilers and talkers
and therefore unsuitable.
I don’t really want to be witnessed talking to the catbirds
or hugging the old black oak tree.
I have my ways of praying,
as you no doubt have yours.
Besides, when I am alone
I can become invisible.
I can sit on the top of a dune
as motionless as an uprise of weeds,
until the foxes run by unconcerned.
I can hear the almost unhearable sound of the roses singing.
If you have ever gone to the woods with me,
I must love you very much.
