Just Burn It ️🔥 is one of our Signature Series Nature Events that combines the spiritual and ritual of the profound power of the outdoors with human wellbeing. Now in its 2nd offering, we kicked it off last year with nearly 100 souls who sought to clear, cleanse and make a space for new growth.
As both an Old and New Growth Regenerated Forest, it is very special and sacred for us to open our huge fire pit to honor the Winter Solstice and the ancient ritual of closing the year this way.
Fire is an elemental power that shifts everything. It moves life into the phase of death and also creates energy and warmth; when used as a tool of transformation, we can leave behind “the Old” before we even begin to envision the new.
Many of us set resolutions without ever “clearing our inner closet” of clutter and the detritus from the year. When we invite you to pause, recollect, write, pray, walk, drum and meditate over what you seek to shed, it will make the necessary room to allow something new to come forth.
Practice an ancient ritual of burning away what needs to be left behind.
