The experience includes nature meditation, a silent forest walk, and a gratitude journal practice called “Declare It Good.” Enjoy a light picnic featuring artisanal bread, olive oil, olives, hummus, and fresh fruit surrounded by beauty and serenity.

Slip out of the city and into the sanctuary of stillness—where moonlight guides your path and the forest holds space for your breath. Join us at Patch of Heaven Sanctuary as we gather beneath December's Cold Moon. Science shows that spending time in nature at twilight—when our circadian rhythms begin to shift—can reduce stress and recalibrate our nervous system. Paired with forest bathing, a proven practice to lower cortisol and boost immune function, this experience offers not just tranquility, but transformation. We’ll walk together, silently and mindfully, into the heart of our 124-year-old forest. These paths are unpaved, softly lit, and sacred.

    Just Burn It is one of our Signature Series Nature Events that combines the spiritual and ritual of the profound power of the outdoors with human wellbeing. Now in its 2nd offering, we kicked it off last year with nearly 100 souls who sought to clear, cleanse and make a space for new growth. As both an Old and New Growth Regenerated Forest, it is very special and sacred for us to open our huge fire pit to honor the Winter Solstice and the ancient ritual of closing the year this way.
